Journey of A Surrogate My journal has had some surprising side effects. First of all, people are reading it, which still just shocks the heck out of me. And they are writing me. I've heard from many surrogate-curious and surrogate-want-to-becomes. I've answered a lot of questions and pointed a lot of gals toward the right resources to get started on their own journeys. I've made some wonderful friends and watched some great surros be born. My surrofriend that started this all for me has had her surrobaby. She delivered a sweet little girl and is now pursuing her second GS arrangement. Another of my journal-met surrofriends is due any day now with her surromonster. Several others are in various stages of their pregnancies. Two others just found out today that they are pregnant, including my doula/best friend, Kandice. Still others are waiting replies from IP's or agencies and awaiting insems or transfers. I refer to them all fondly as "my girls" and try really hard to keep up each one of their journeys. I can take no credit for their accomplishments. Only their own good hearts and giving souls led them to the decision to carry the ultimate gift for someone else. But I am so honored that they've allowed me to share in their journeys. I'm honored to help in any capacity that I can. Girls-you know who you are-I want to take this moment to thank you. Thank you for making the decisions that you have. Thank you for believing in surrogacy with me. And thank you for letting me get to know you. I love you all and know that I'm a better person for having met you. I wish you each the best of luck with your journeys.
